Every calculator on this site is built around formulas that are widely referenced and openly discussed in personal injury education content — the multiplier method and per-diem method for pain & suffering, standard contingency-fee tiers (roughly 33% pre-suit, 40% post-filing, up to 45% at trial), and straightforward arithmetic for lost wages and structured-settlement present value. We do not use a proprietary or AI-driven valuation model, and we don't claim access to a private database of real settlement outcomes. What you see is the formula, applied to the numbers you enter — nothing more.
These formulas are general reference points, not legal or actuarial standards. They cannot account for your state's specific negligence rules, damage caps, the at-fault party's insurance limits, or the strength of your evidence — all of which materially affect what a real claim is worth. We say this plainly rather than implying more precision than the underlying method actually has.
